Supplied as
80 mg per vial, as a lyophilized powder in a sealed glass vial with a crimped cap. The lot number on the label matches the certificate of analysis in the COA library.
Storage and handling
Store lyophilized powder frozen (−20 °C) or refrigerated, sealed and away from light. Once reconstituted, keep refrigerated (2–8 °C).
Handle in a laboratory setting using appropriate protective equipment. Consult the certificate of analysis and safety data for lot-specific information.
Research summary
KLOW Blend is a four-peptide research blend that combines GHK-Cu, KPV, BPC-157 and TB-500 in one lyophilized vial. It is GLOW Blend plus KPV, an anti-inflammatory tripeptide derived from alpha-MSH. No published study has tested this combination, so the research behind KLOW is the research behind each of its four components.

What is in KLOW Blend?
KLOW contains every peptide in GLOW Blend and in Wolverine Blend, with KPV as the one addition:
- GHK-Cu: the copper(II) complex of Gly-His-Lys, studied for collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis1,2.
- KPV: Lys-Pro-Val, the C-terminal tripeptide (residues 11 to 13) of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone, studied in inflammation models3.
- BPC-157: a 15-amino-acid partial sequence of a protein found in human gastric juice, studied in tendon and wound models4.
- TB-500: N-acetylated LKKTETQ, a synthetic version of the actin-binding region of thymosin beta-45.
What KPV adds
KPV is what distinguishes KLOW from GLOW. In human intestinal epithelial cells and T cells, nanomolar KPV inhibited NF-kappaB and MAP kinase signaling and reduced pro-inflammatory cytokine secretion; it entered cells through the peptide transporter PepT1, and KPV given in drinking water reduced chemically induced colitis in mice6. A second group reported less inflammation and faster weight recovery with KPV in two mouse colitis models, including mice without a functional MC1 receptor, which suggests the effect is at least partly independent of that receptor3.
For skin research, Böhm and Luger have proposed truncated alpha-MSH peptides such as KPV as candidates for wound studies, noting that they keep anti-inflammatory activity but lack the pigment-inducing activity of alpha-MSH7.
The other three components
GHK-Cu stimulated collagen synthesis in fibroblast cultures1 and increased collagen and glycosaminoglycan accumulation in rat wound chambers2. BPC-157 increased the outgrowth and migration of rat tendon fibroblasts through the FAK-paxillin pathway4. The LKKTETQ region that TB-500 reproduces is associated with cell migration and angiogenesis in thymosin beta-48, and the full-length protein increased re-epithelialization and angiogenesis in rat skin wounds9.
Limitations of the evidence
- No study has tested KLOW Blend or any four-way combination of these peptides.
- KPV data come mainly from cell lines and mouse colitis models; its role in skin is so far a research proposal7.
- Combining peptides does not guarantee additive effects: in rat Achilles tendons, BPC-157 plus TB-500 was no better than either peptide alone10.
- Clinical evidence for GHK-Cu remains sparse11.
Sourcing KLOW Blend for research
Peptides Only supplies KLOW Blend as a lyophilized powder for laboratory research only. Each lot ships with a lot-matched certificate of analysis (HPLC purity and mass-spec identity) from an independent lab, published in our COA library. The four components are also sold individually for designs that need to isolate one peptide, and GLOW vs KLOW vs Wolverine compares the three blends.
KLOW Blend FAQ
What is the difference between KLOW and GLOW?
KLOW contains the three GLOW peptides (GHK-Cu, BPC-157 and TB-500) plus KPV. Neither blend has been studied as a mixture.
What is the difference between KLOW and Wolverine Blend?
Wolverine Blend is BPC-157 and TB-500 only. KLOW adds GHK-Cu, studied for matrix synthesis2, and KPV, studied in inflammation models6.
Is KPV the same as alpha-MSH?
No. KPV is only the last three residues of alpha-MSH (positions 11 to 13)3. Unlike the full hormone, it lacks pigment-inducing activity7.
Is KLOW Blend approved by the FDA?
No. KLOW Blend and its four components are not FDA-approved drugs, and the blend has not been tested in any clinical or animal study. Peptides Only sells it for laboratory research only.
