The research behind each vial

Thymosin Alpha-1 10 mg

Thymosin alpha-1 (Tα1, thymalfasin) is a 28-amino-acid, N-terminally acetylated peptide first isolated from calf thymus and sequenced in 1977. It is studied in immunology research for its effects on dendritic cells, Toll-like receptor signaling and T-cell responses, and synthetic thymalfasin has been examined in clinical trials in viral hepatitis, cancer and sepsis. It is not an FDA-approved drug in the United States.

NAD+ 500 mg

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in every living cell, not a peptide: it carries electrons in oxidation-reduction reactions and is consumed as a co-substrate by enzymes such as the sirtuins and poly(ADP-ribose) polymerases. Research interest has grown because tissue NAD+ levels decline with age in rodents and humans, a change studied in connection with mitochondrial function, DNA repair and metabolic regulation. Peptides Only supplies NAD+ as a lyophilized research reagent for laboratory use.

MOTS-c 10 mg

MOTS-c (mitochondrial open reading frame of the 12S rRNA type-c) is a 16-amino-acid peptide encoded within mitochondrial DNA, in the gene for 12S ribosomal RNA. It belongs to the small family of mitochondrial-derived peptides and is studied as a signal through which mitochondria may influence metabolism in the rest of the cell and body, with most of the evidence coming from mice and cultured cells.
